For my first artifact for Subject Matter (DM3), I have attached my Praxis Test Scores from June 2010. I feel that these scores are a good artifact to demonstrate my knowledge of the subject matter that I will teach. I also feel that by finishing the Elementary Education Program at Dixie State College, that I will know how to facilitate the acquisition of subject matter knowledge in my own students in my classroom. Achieving a passing score on the Praxis is in no way an end to my own quest for knowledge. I will continue to seek ways to learn and to grow in all subject areas throughout my career in the teaching profession. If I live a life that seeks knowledge, I hope that through my example, my students will also grow to have an intrinsic motivation learn for the rest of their lives.
